life moves through all I am
from the minuscule,
unknown bone cell
vibrating in the ilium wing
to the invisible star,
whose light shelters me,
whose rays caress me,
as sure as sunlight
like a gold thread trembling
rising and falling
through the currents of wind
in the dance of shadows
beneath the tree at the heart of my garden
here and there
tiny seas pulsing—
one born within another,
driven by the cosmic tide
reborn
through the quartz of my bones
turning, turning
always bathed in water
meeting other water—
always, living water
