Oppenheimer: Now I am Become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds

We knew the world would not be the same. Few people laughed, few people cried, most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says, "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.

Sabíamos que el mundo nunca será igual.  Algunos se rieron, otros lloraron, la mayoría guardaron silencio.  Me acordé de una cita de la escritura hindú, el Bhgavad-Gita.  Visnu está tratando de persuadir al Príncipe que el debería cumplir con su deber y para impresionarlo asume su forma de brazos múltiples y dice, "Ahora me he convertido en la Muerte, el Destructor de mundos."  Supongo que todos pensamos esto, de alguna manera.
