Tezcatlipoca Negro del Códice Borgia

Tezcatlipoca took four different forms and colors, representing the four directions. North was associated with the color black and was the spirit of black magic and witchcraft. South was represented by blue and the hummingbird. East was yellow and symbolic of the rising sun and maize. West was associated with the color red and represented the blood of sacrifice (Prescott 1970).
