The day you were born

for Violeta

The day you were born
the day the winds of the universe
conspired to call your name
to create your voice
the day the sound of your voice
made the leaves on the trees tremble
for the first time
the day the first light of your eyes
made the butterflies quiver in mid-flight
I celebrate that day
the day you were born
the day we celebrate today
with our hands interlaced and our heads uplifted
and with our open laughter of lightning joy & cinnamon
of lemon trees suns & parrots
of sandlewood beaches & adventure
this laughter that rings
rings in the folds of the mountains
rings in the vastness of the skies
rings in the keeness of the stars
rings rings
our laughter
that rings in free flight--

  2. Wow, qué guapo!

Veo que haces lo que quieres con las palabras, ¿o ellas lo hacen contigo?

    Tradúcelo, please!
